Metallic sectional contoured matrixes 35 mkm thickness
Used in therapeutic dentistry to separate the approximate surfaces of adjacent teeth when filling carious cavities of class II.
Composition and main characteristic
The matrices are made of special corrosion-resistant steel, 35 mkm thickness.
Thin matrices are useful for restoring small defects, thick ones for restoring large carious cavities with destruction in the subgingival region.
Thick matrixes hold the form well, which in some cases does not allow the use of wedges when restoring the gingival margin or the arbor wall.
